Murray Burton

CEO Elim Education Office

Having had the amazing opportunity to lead five schools across Primary to Secondary, Murray now contributes back to any and all leadership scenarios through a variety of avenues.

Murray counts it a humble privilege to have led Elim Christian College for 22 years, engaging in biblical formation, a counter-cultural lens and fostering ‘discipleship’ as Eugene Petersen calls it, “a long obedience in the same direction.”

Murray seeks to bring pivotal influence to organisational culture and authentic leadership. He is passionate about building and sustaining leaders who say to the world, “It doesn't have to be this way and then do something about it”.

KEYNOTE #4
Be Anchored and Geared. Cultivate the Grit and be the Glue. Close the Gap!

Tyler Staton said “My obsession is closing the gap between the rumour of life with God on the pages of Scripture and the experience of life with God in the everyday believer.” So is it by ‘bread alone’ or ‘every word’? To flourish in your learning, teaching and working space, Ian Cron says “somebody has to die and that somebody is you.”
